One license runs Theo on one computer. Pick the term that fits the work; every term includes the whole simulator.

Prices are net. VAT is added at checkout where it applies; a business in another EU country with a VAT number pays none here (reverse charge).

Academic license
€300per year, per computer
One year of Theo for a research group or a teaching lab, with updates and support. Issued by email: write to us from your institutional address with the machine code. For a whole course or lab, ask for a block.

Freethrough your university
A one-year license for your own studies, on your own computer, free of charge when your institution is registered with us. Your lecturer collects the machine codes and we issue the licenses in one go.
Your university is not registered yet? Ask your department to write to us: registration is free and takes one email.

- How is a license tied to my computer?
- Theo shows a machine code under Help ▸ License…; the license is signed for that code and works on that computer only. To move to another computer, write to us and we reissue it.
- What happens when the term ends?
- Theo goes back to demo mode: ten-minute sessions, no saving. Your project files stay yours and open again the moment a new license is in place.
- Can I renew?
- Yes, from your account page, for the same computer. A renewal bought early starts when the current term ends; no days are lost.
- How do I pay, and what do I get?
- By card, through Stripe. The signed license file, its certificate and the invoice arrive by email a few minutes later, and the license is listed in your account on this site.
- Do I need an internet connection?
- Only to download Theo and to receive the license. Theo checks the license on your computer and sends nothing about your plant anywhere.
